Cavalier Carpets + Norman Ellison CarpetsCavalier Corporation operates two broadloom carpet businesses – Cavalier Carpets and Norman Ellison Carpets. Under the umbrella of Cavalier Carpets sits the iconic brand Cavalier Bremworth, which includes the designer Bremworth Collection range. The brand is positioned as 'New Zealand's pure wool carpet maker' while Bremworth Collection is defined as 'luxury New Zealand wool carpet'. Knightsbridge and Kimberley are the New Zealand and Australian brands pitched to the market as 'affordable style' and selling the same ranges with a mix of 100% wool, wool blends and synthetics. They also sit within the Cavalier Carpets division as does Tramore which is a commercial synthetic range. These five carpet brands are serviced by Cavalier Carpets' yarn spinning plants in Napier and Wanganui and a carpet tufting plant in Auckland. Cavalier Carpets has major distribution centres in Auckland and Sydney and sales offices throughout New Zealand and Australia. The second broadloom carpet business is Norman Ellison Carpets which manufactures a range of wool, wool-blend and synthetic carpets from a single site in Auckland. It also imports carpet and markets its ranges under the brands Norman Ellison and Georgia Collection. Norman Ellison has distribution and sales operations in New Zealand and Australia. |
